Default 964 A/C delete bracket?

Hi,

I have an interesting leftover part from my 3.2/3.6 swap. It appears to be the A/C delete bracket from a 964 RS car, but I can find no references to that actual part number. It looks to have the same part number as the standard bracket.

My first thought was that it was an a/c mounting bracket that had been cut, but it certainly looks unmodified. Thoughts on how to identify it or what its worth in my attempt to recoupe some conversion costs?

Can't help you with the part # but if you want to unload it let me know. I'm looking for one of those + I'm local.

yup, that appears to be it. the 'modified' ones i've seen look similar, but this mine appears to have casting marks where the modified ones have been cut.

any thoughts on what these things sell for in the used market?

The MSRP is $259.16USD which means we can buy a brand-new one for ~$125USD, so less than that.
