Default RS America Spoiler wanted!!!

If anyone out there comes across a RS America OEM rear spoiler I am looking for one. Best color would be Guards Red but will repaint if not this color. Thanks for your help.

I have one of these I will sell. It is currently white. I have the RSA tail and decklid complete. These are factory parts in nearly perfect condition, and I will not separate them. Let me know if that's what you want. I will include my home made aluminum adaptors to make this fit a normal 964 without changing the hinges. Also have directions to jump the moveable tail connector so the light will not activate. Regards, Roy

RSA factory wings are quite rare. I searched for years... Good Luck. They work great !

I looked for one for a while, but most folk wanted $1k (and more) for them and an aftermarket one from MA Shaw or Getty Design was less than $750 (new). I bought the MA Shaw one. It lacks the rubber edge of the original (which I thought was ugly anyway).

The rubber edge is there so you don't decapitate the hapless pedestrians who fly over the car and hit your rear spoiler after you launch them into the air with your front bumper.

It really works, too. Of the last two or three pedestrians I launched over my front bumper, none of them have been decapitated. German engineering at its finest.

Isn't the RSA wing the same as an 84-89 Carrera tail?

The only difference is the decklid.

But the steel decklid itself on the RSA and the regular 964 with pop-up spoiler are identical. Does that mean that you could match up a regular 964 decklid with an 84-89 spoiler and have an RSA tail (assuming the RSA spoiler and 84-89 spoiler are indentical)? Would the two components (964 lid and 84-89 spoiler) fit together without modification?

Here are the p/n for the Deck Lid from the PET

Deck Lid Cover p/n
Carrera 2/4/Turbo- Look 964 512 010 01
RS America Deck Lid Cover 964 512 010 03
Turbo 965 512 010 01

Looks like the RSA is different some how.

No, you would have to drill the decklid to accept the RSA tail. And I mean drill it where you could not return to the original look without filling holes.
