UK car breakdown cover for Europe
Just starting to plan some forays into Europe for next summer, and last time, I ended up booking breakdown cover at the last minute. The best cover I could get was about £70/week becasue the car was over 16 years old.
Does anyone know if I can get cheaper cover than this, maybe a years policy or something to that effect ?

You might want to check with the AA. They include european break down cover. Not sure if you would have to pay extra cause the car is over 16 years though. Worth asking though.

Hi Craig - I too get breakdown EU wide with my classic car insurance with Carole Nash underwritten by Chaucer. Was £240'ish for 4000 miles full comp. Had a bit of a wrangle with Chaucer over a replacement screen (broken when I had the windscreen surround paint job done!) but they paid up after 6 weeks.
