Can someone tell me how to remve the battery!
Its late, and I just purchased a new OPTIMA 35DC Yellow Top, and I cant figure out whats holding it down. Can someone please show me or tell me how to remove the Interstate battery that is on there now?

I'm guessing you're missing the battery hold down clamp located on the inboard edge of the battery hidden under the spare tire. You'll need a 13mm wrench to loosen the bolt that's securing the clamp. Also don't forget the vent-tube...

My hold down bolt was to long , it had draged on the ground at some point . Buggered up the bolt real good . I had to remove
all the threads below the nut .

No tube for the optima .
Thats one big reason to buy the optima , no acid to spill or vent overboard .
I just put a optima in the 964 , happy happy joy joy .
I just bought on ebay another optima for the vw van , the D31t .
