Default Deciphering option codes

My 1990 Stone Grey 964 Carrera 4 was imported to New Zealand from Singapore in around 1999. But the Option Code in the Maintenance Book is C26. For 997s, that's South Africa. But it can't be for 964s, can it ..?

It would be strange, because the car was delivered by Stuttgart Auto Pte Ltd of Leng Kee Road in November 1990.

There's another code in there that I can't decipher: 150. Does anyone know what that code means?

Thanks

Chris

According to the "Porsche 911 Enthusiasts Companion", option code 150 is "Emissions systems removed for countries without unleaded fuel".

You can use the option code decoder on Rennlist located HERE.

Code 150 (AKA M150) is without catalyst according to the Rennlist option decoder and the decoder at p-car.com

Thanks for clearing that up. Strange - I had no idea the car was running without a cat. What was the cat replaced with? A straight-through pipe?

I was thinking of having a G-pipe fitted to free up the exhaust a little, but maybe there's not much point in that now!
