Default Shift Fork Removal, Help

Evening,

So I am in the midst of trying to remove my shift fork. I have the shaft retaining bolt and holder off, but the bearing cover does not want to budge. I have tried turning it with pliers to get it loose and prying at it. Am I missing something?

thanks,

Ken

once the holder is off, screw the retaining bolt back in and then use pliers on the bolt head and pull out the bolt with the beaing cover.

Thanks Colin! The bolt is in and I will try to find a way to pull harder on it to get the cover out :-)

Macgyver a puller from a 19mm or 21mm socket, a long bolt, a bunch of washers and an extra nut. Thread the bolt into the release fork shaft, then tighten the nut so that it will push against the washers which will push against the socket. The socket will push against the transmission bellhousing pulling the shaft out of the fork and into the socket. If my (poorly written) explanation doesn't make complete sense let me know and I will take a photo.
