Default Off Topic: Paul Frère injured

It's been a bad week for celebrity drivers: Belgian journalist and leading Porsche authority Paul Frère has been injured while road testing a Honda Civic Type-R in Germany.

Frère, now aged 89, is in a hospital near Frankfurt with seven broken ribs, a fractured pelvis and punctured lung. But according to Belgian online magazine La Dernière Heure (www.dhnet.be) he hopes to return to his home in Nice some time in October.

I have a copy of Frère's "Porsche 911 Story: The entire development history", and it's one of the best 911 books I've read. Let's hope he gets well soon, too.

Yes Paul's book is THE porsche 911 development book to have. I was hoping for a what 7th edition covering the 997.

Get well Paul!
