I believe Geoffrey of Raceteck will be able to help you.

I've been wondering that myself - why aren't there ANY tuners in America who can do what those Brits are doing? Motec conversions, the Ninemeister heads and cams... there's some really impressive stuff being done overseas. Our tuners here in the U.S. are extremely disappointing when it comes to NA tuning.

Protomotive is about 10 hours from you and they have an engine dynamometer. They also have the software to tune the stock 964 motronic so you don't have to spend the extra $$$ for Motec.

For a race car there are plenty of Porsche shops in North America that are equipped to do Motec tuning. For a 993 street car (i.e. you) with emission regulations that you need to comply with, in most states you will probably have to stick with the stock OBD2 ECU. I don't know of anyone (currently) that can do live-remapping for OBD2. CARB requirements will also make this slightly more difficult for some people.

Point taken on OBD2, Jason. I luckily have OBD1 ('95) and am in the same proverbial boat as the 964 guys.

I find this rather ironic that you guys have some pretty tight emission laws, yet still drive around in gargantuan juice guzzlers, an almost oxymoronic condition it seems to me.....
