That's a great stance. What are the components/settings to make it sit so nice?

It may sit nice but once it starts moving you'd wish you were stationary...

Nope not with mine neither!

Its sitting on KW Clubsports with medium damper setting, the way i like it

The wheel size are 8s and 10s

And if you think thats low, heres Marcos in Germany, drives it hard on road and at the Nurburg.

They are 928GT wheels, I found them in Germany, they had been polished and then badly neglected. I had a wheel pro of my friend clean and repaint them. It seems the very last 944Turbos had them as well, at least here in Switzerland.
If you feel like being raped, MSroad race has a pair at 390$ each...

Observe that those are ordinary Design 90 wheels, found on the 928 S4. They are casted and 9" in he rear and 7½" in the front.

The 1989 928 GT wheels that also were used on some vintage of the 944 Turbo, are known as Club Sport wheels. They are forged and measure 9" in the rear and 8" in the front. The most expensive 16" factoryfitted wheels Porsche made or had made. Notice the difference wjere the spokes migrate into the rim edge.

Are these wheels the same brand/type in the pics above?

They look perfect. What are they? BBS LM?

Ragnar,

Yes and no.

The last year for the 928 GT had the cast design 90 rims. trust me on this one. They have a 928 part number.

But yes some GTs had indeed the forged rims (of which I had over 4 sets 8&9 with my 944 Turbo Cup)

You are correct that the 1990 and 1991 GT did not hace the forged Club Sports, except the cast D90, like the S4.

The Club Sports were introduced on the 928 Club Sport in 1988.

Why were those wheels never fitted to the 964 by factory ? It would be a nice upgrade with 8" in the front and 9" in the rear, compared to the 7" and 8" Design 90 wheels.

On the photo my recently acquired 1990 964 C2 with 17" Cup I rims and complete RS suspension.
