Ok, so I knocked it off (by accident) cleaning the inside of the screen.
The whole mirror, still attached to the metal disk has come unstuck from the screen. I can't separate the mirror from the metal disk at present, but that's another point.

What type is adhesive do I need to use to get the metal disk back onto the screen properly?

go to your nearest autoglass place .
they normally do it for free if theyre not busy , and you put a donation into there charity box .
good guys !!!

not sure what other firms do this , but it wont be expensive anywhere .
