Default Pressure Plates

How many different pressure plates are there for 964 series G50 variants? Anyone know?

If you know about the "special" 964s like turbos, RSs, RSRs, and Cups that would be very interesting to me.

Thanks!

Starting with MY92 the regular 964 was delivered with the same pressure plate as the 964RS.

OK, awesome. What's the functional difference between a 964-116-028-90 and a 964-116-028-03 (993)? My mechanic says I need a -03, but I have a 964 Cup, so I'd assume a -90 given your information. To make things even more confusing, I think I saw a red mark on mine...

The 993 PP has a higher clamping force than the 964 version, other than that they are the same (style - G MFZ 240). The spec on the 964 PP is 10600-11500 Newtons, not sure on the exact numbers for the 993. I tried getting the numbers from Sachs NA but did not succeed, maybe you'll have better luck?

Your 964 Cup has nearly the same HP/TQ as the 993 so I would follow your mechanics recommendation. Someone mentioned that PMNA is now using AP Racing pressure plates for the 996/997 Cups so it might be worth looking into those?

The pressure plate for the TT (red mark) seems to be the limit for what most people can handle driving around without boosted hydraulics?

I ordered a Carrera Cup Flywheel/Clutch Conversion
I received a Pressure Plate part number 964-116-028-53
Does this fit a 1990 Carrera C2 Non turbo?
is it basically the same as part number 964-116-028-90?
Thank you for the help.
