Not sure what you mean by "was it a real Porsche model". It was only sold in North America and only 701 were ever built. Rumor had it that Porsche built it to make the US market happy since North America was denied the earlier lightweight RS model. It has a unique serial number from the other 964's. Here's the way the rear deck badge is supposed to look. Personally, I like the badge when it is aligned correctly.

RS 3.8 tail gives the appearance of a faster car, more track oriented, thats my vote, I'm tired of my OEM tail and plan on swaping even if temporary to a rs 3.8.
