Hi. I've had an 89 C4 for only a few weeks now. The guy I bought it from installed RS suspension all round and I've been finding the ride, especially at the back, just a bit rough (Sydney's roads are crap). Thought I'd check the tire pressure before taking more significant steps. The rear was up at 35 PSI (the fronts were at 32). BTW, the car's on 17 inch cups with 255/40 at the rear and 205/50 at the front i think. I adjusted the rear tires to 32PSI and it made all the difference. Still very taut, but those few PSI have just taken the harsh bone rattling edge off. What are other people riding on and is it ok to run the tires so much lower than what the manual recommends? Thanks in advance for your help.https://rennlist.com/forums/images/icons/icon7.gif
If you do a search "tire pressure" in the 964 area you will get the info https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...=tyre+pressure
I did the search and thats the "address" of the answer, sorry I do not know how to do a link.

I run on 36 psi cold all round for normal road use (with 17" cup 2's, 245 rear 225 front tyres and lowered sussies).
For track use I run on 36 all round hot.
