Default Tire Cradle

Due to a decrease in garage space, I must put my 94 Speedster in storage for the long winter months. Does anyone use the Tire Cradle advertised in Pano? In the past, I have increased the tire pressure 50psi, but that didn't do the trick as my tires still lost some roundness...

Note: I searched the Renn archives, and the jury was mixed. Also, the data was mostly from 2003/2004.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Thanks,
-Blake

Well, it's not very high-tech, but I just park the car over a polyethylene drop sheet with the tires on 3 layers of old, thick carpet. Roll the car every month or so - seems to work OK. Although I do drive the car on nice days in the winter...so the longest it's ever not been driven is about 8 weeks.

Way too expensive those tire cradles.. especially when you realize what they're made of, personally I think that is a complete ripoff..
What I use are those foam pads to put your knees on when doing gardening, they have a more dense base then a lesser dense pad in between and the top is a very soft pad..
Since I use them I have not felt a flat spot after the winter months. They're like 5 bucks each.

I hope this helps
