Default Porsche immobiliser problems

The red interior light for the immobiliser usually flashes once every 2 seconds.
When you push the key fob into the receiver the light then stops flashing (with an audible 3 beeps) and remains constantly on for about 20 seconds giving you time to start the car.
Just recently i have sometimes experienced the light changing from 1 flash every 2 seconds to about 2 falshes every second when i push the fob in, and have to wait for about 20 seconds before i try again.
Any ideas what could be causing this ?
I removed the seat and had a look at the black box but that looks to be sealed.

Thanks

I had a similar flash on my US spec car along with random alarm activations. I subsequently had door locking issues and it all turned out to be a limit switch adjustment on the passenger door lock actuating motor. I loosened the mounting screws on the motor and moved the motor up very slightly. The door locking problems went away, as did the random alarms and the fast flashing. If you have access to a Hammer that should tell you what is causing the alarm system to see an error.

Thanks
Would never have thought of checking the door lock motor positions.
