I just wanted to give you all an update.
Yesterday I rechecked all valves and tightened all of them a bit.
Before the feeler gauge was easily moved, but now I tightened the valves so the feeler gauge drags when measuring.
The ticking sound is gone and the car actually feels faster under acceleration (Even my girlfriend noticed it).
So thanks for your help.
The tip about just jacking it up on one side at a time was great, almost no oil spill at all.
I removed bot valve covers inside the engine bay, and took out the spark plugs in the top, and then I just adjusted the valves on the side that was jacked up, completed this side and then I jacked the other side up and did the same here.

Glad to hear all went well! The subsequent valve adjustments from now on will be easy for you!
