Air flow Meter/Mass Air Flow Meter what years fit

Hi

Is this the same item Mass Air Flow meter and Air Flow meter, sorry for stupid question.

Is the 3.2 AFM the same as the 964. Does anyone have the part number to hand.

That is an air flow meter (AFM), the 993 and new model Porsches use a mass-air flow meter (MAF).

The output voltage curve is the same but the 964 version was updated. So it will work but if you have a choice use the updated part.

The Porsche part number is #964-606-050-00 and the Bosch part number is #0-280-203-023.
