LA964RS

The Speedster seat is suspended by straps while in the RS seat you sit on foam on top of a solid base. Anyone have any idea if there is a difference in comfort between the two seats?

A lot of bad roads here and a little bit of comfort could make a differnence on which way I go w/seat selection.

The 964 Speedster/993 RS seats are a little bit more softer than the 964 RS seats but the different ist very small!!!

Bigger Question is the question, where do you buy them!
The Speedster 964 / 993 RS seats are ultra rare!!!
And the original 964 RS seats, too!

Just get them bought and then get them re[padded with thicker foam, thats what I'm doing as the RS seat is pretty sore after a bit!!!!

The Speedster seat is more forgiving but using a crotch belt is not possible.

The RS seat is a very rare bird and I think it has been superceded to the Speedster part number.

I search 2 years after a pair and find a very very good pair of Speedster seats!

There is a set for sale in the June issue of Panorama on page 108, price: $5250, says only 15 miles on these 1994 speedster seats!

Eventhough my goal is to clone a real RS out of my RSA, spending over 5K on seats is out of the question. That's why I'll settle with Recaro Pole Position.
