Hi,
I have a really bad paint problem on my front bumper that I can cover up with a Euro license plate. (It's just the right size).
I know there are a couple of 964 owners from Europe... Are there any special mounting brackets that I need to do this? On eBay, there are a few plates that come with a frame... are those standard? Do I need a special one for my 91' 911?
Thanks a lot!
Mark

Bon jour, Mark;
I purchased my euro front plate and mounting frame from this fellow in Germany:
http://www.grtpl8s.com/
Plate was US$19.99 and frame was $10.99. Very nice guy; he even uses a photo of my car on the front page of his website. (No affiliation, honest!)
IMHO, the 964 looks much better with the Euro plate than with the N. American or just an empty indentation in the bumper.
Cheers
