If anyone is truly interested, I'll be taking more pictures and cleaning them up this weekend. If I don't sell them here, I'll put them up on the rennlist ads, and then from there to ebay. My email is chris.picklo@cerner.com if you have any questions....

Sorry pennypacker, when I first looked at your photo of the rash it looked like there was a junk taken out of the rim, then you mentioned the construction in your neighborhood and I got this image of you hitting a chunk of concrete or something.

I am interested.

I am new to 964 ownership, just having bought a 93 RSA, and I have read a little about the RS wheels offered in Europe. Are these the same as those? How do they differ from those, and those that I have currently--are they the same style just wider?

Darth,

No problem - I actually rubbed a granite curb when parking in downtown. Not proud at all.

Nate:

These wheels came on cup cars (964). The size is 8x9.5x17. These are different from the RS wheels, which are 7x8 I believe and made of magnesium. I've heard of two tire sizes being used on these wheels. One is 245 up front (fenders rolled) and 275 in the rear. The other, of which I am currently using, is 225 up front and 255 in the rear. I actually have a set of rear (255) Michelin Pilots that have about 5/32 on them for whoever buys the wheels.

I think the RSAs have 7" wide fronts and 8" wide rears.

Congrats on the sale. So what kind of wheels are you going to put on the car?

I'm moving to 18's, along with RS suspension. As soon as I can afford it (07' or 08), I would like to run this car in E stock. The 18's are Carrera 02' hollowspokes.
