you will probably need around 10-12mm spacers in the rear.

The Cup II, 17" wheels are a 55 offset. Adding a 12mm spacer will be fine. 65-12=53...or close enough.

With 12mm spacer you should use longer studs though.....make sure you get some for safety reasons...

Hmm,
My offset on my 17s is 56.5, but I need between 10-15 mm of spacer to keep the rear wheel off the oil line but inside the fender. So why would a 65 offset require the same?

Ahh but with a 9 inch rim you don't have any clearance issues anyways so you can move it around the 9mm and not care. I knew it had to be something. My rears are 10Jx17 ET56.7, there is no room to play. I am going to install a slightly wider spacer this summer (15mm) to give me a little more inner clearance

When you get to wider rims (9.5"-10") on the rear, the target offset should be 47mm, give or take a mm. A 9x16" might work fine, after spacers, around the stock 52mm offset.
