Guys,
One thing that I dont think is in doubt , is that given a fresh go ,Porsche would have dropped the front drive down from 31% to maybe 20-25 % for chassis dynamic reasons.
I guess a group buy on gears would still be horrific in cost , even if we could persuade a gear manufacturer to make the bits !!
Ah well , back to the drawing board !!

All the best

foward is by Ferry Porsche and it covers everything Porsche 4WD up to and including the 964 . When you read what the development guys had to say about viscous coupling it makes you wonder how they enjoyed the 993 !!!!!!
I searched for the title on Chapter, Amazon, Indigo, etc. with no luck.

Has anyone been able to find this book?

Great discussion on how this system works. I'm trying to figure out some issues with mine, so if anyone has info, diagrams, experience with the c4 drivetrain, anyone with similar issues that got them worked out...chime in!

Seriously on the track with the diff locks off, it was absolutely phenomenal. I am always so surprised how good these cars are...
