I'm pretty sure you'll need spacers with that offset - too close to the body of the car.

Not a chance. You'll need 18mm spacers for the rears to reduce the offset to 47mm.

15 mm Spacers are the minimum at the rear!

Actually. a 40" behind is much more beneficial.

Hmm, I was not overly impressed with the 18s. Stick with cup 1s and drop the car

Christian,

I think we guessed what you meant. I know the Mille Miglia 18" 10J wheels which are sold for the 964 narrow body are ET47 - hence my suggestion of an 18mm spacer. I have my suspicions that a 15mm spacer might leave the wheel a little close to the oil line. Much may depend on what size tyre is fitted to the 10J wheel too.

Regards

Interesting. I'm receiving a set of 02 Carrera hollow spokes (8x10x18) later this week. I currenlty have 15mm spacers in the rear - I'll let you know how it goes.

I see 1" (25mm?) spacers are readily available. Do you think this would push it out too far?

Yes!

I tested 21mm at the rrear this weekend with 10x18 ET65 and it is the limit without bodywork!

Depends on alignment and some car-to-car variation.

I have 18x10 ET65 rears with 265's and switched from a 15mm spacer to a 21mm spacer as the tire rubbed the oil line (not at rest, only once driving).
