Thanks to all for the help and suggestions over the last few months.

While I may not be the farthest one down that slippey slope, I suspect I may be one of the ones sliding down the fastest.

Thanks for all the kudos guys.

To answer a few questions:

No, I did not have a lift - it just went 24" up on axle stands in December and stayed there until a few days ago.

I did liked the Denison alot but.......a curious 2 year old son and a proprietary hard-drive carrier unit for a discontinued car head unit is not a good combo.
Good thing he is a cute boy.

Sadly, a front plate is law here but it ruins the lines of the car. I did not want to give them any reason to stop me so I adapted that one for the 964 as it was originally made for the 993 - see here.

Oh yeah - I am booked in for 6 DE's this summer (a total of 14 days). I'll put on the 17" Twist wheels for the DE's to keep the 18" wheels looking pretty.

That huge black hole is in my wallet!

I put Michelin Pilot Sport's (N2) on. I have the same thing on the 17" Twist wheels so can't compare.
Once the tires on the 17" rims wear out at the track, I'll switch from 205 to 225 on the front and maybe try MPSC's.

That is the photo from last year I threw in for comparison (mentioned in the last line of my original post).

Wow! really nice work Marc. Question though, why did you put the secondary muffler back on and then go cup pipe?

I am going on the advice of Geoff (Red rooster) who knows a heck of a lot more than I do about tuning a car.

He recommended the cup pipe over the g-pipe as the primary muffler is apparently much more restrictive than the secondary muffler and will give more of a performance improvement.

I hope he does not mind me posting his comments here.

No, I did not upgrade the m/c or change the p/v either.
I plan to do both next winter when I put the Big Reds in the rear too.

I have not driven the car hard yet (waiting on that alignment first) but the pedal does feel a little "softer" - modulation remains excellent, however.

Why are you planning to upgrade the master cylinder? What are you looking to improve, as it's probably quite expensive to do?
