Default Clear side indicators, other options?

I have bought the clear side indicators, but I think they look like something that belongs to an old VW polo.
I bought a new one that I think looks more modern and suits the 964 better, but what do you think?
Unfortunately they are not a perfect fit, and have to be modified to stay on. Has anybody seen something like this, which actually fits?

Michael,
The oval ones were all the rage in Europe a while back. I have ? some red ones somewhere but decided to go for the retro look and put the originals back !!
I was given the ovals which fitted OK . Try 911 & Porsche World ads for suppliers .

Good luck

Geoff

i spoke with another uk rennlister about these a while back .....
i will not have anything that resembles the ford oval on my car !!!

i dont like the clears either , so when i bout my clear fronts i got money knocked off by not having any sides supplied , then i bout in-pro crystal smoked ones at a vw show .
in my opinion they look the best of them all and blend well with the black bodywork .
the orange ones where hidious , and i didnt want clear ones to make a design feature of what is basically a piece of plastic un-nesesarily stuck on the side of my car by the manufacturers !!!

i took them completely off my mark2 golf (same side repeater) and i get away with it at mot time , but i didnt want to modify the porsche that much , so black was a compromise .

sorry for the essay

second worst ones have an "egg" inside them so you can see where the bulbs are . the ones i got look totally factory , like the orange ones , but they are more of a lightly smoked "crystal" than a blacked out clear . if you know what i mean

Found these:

The ones from in-pro had a very visible "egg" inside.
