Default LED Gauge Lights

This works. Bright white light. Easy to install and dims too.

Have you tried these? I got some white LEDs on ebay. While they fit just fine, they were not bright.

Yes, I should have explained in my first post. To see the difference, I photographed the tach with the original bulbs, the oil guage has the new LEDs. The LEDs are at least as bright as the bulbs, and pure white. I bought the LEDs directly from the web site.

Wow - I've been sitting on the fence about these for a while... the whites look awesome! I just ordered mine from PorscheLEDs (I asked the vendor a question before - he was very helpful).

Thanks for posting the side-by-side pic... it made all the difference. Now if they would come up with a simple kit to fix the other lights in the interior...

I had a Mazda 6 rental this weekend and the red is very distracting driving at night.

Nice pics! Definitely will be getting these soon! I think either the blue or white will look good.
Does anyone know how hard it is to change the oem gauge bulbs to LEDs? Any write-up on the install?

Red is known for causing eye fatigue, particularly with a black background. The white looks really good.

It is relatively easy to pop/pull the gauges out and replace the bulbs.

Yes I have just completed mine with blue LED's.
2 very minor complications

1) I had to remove steering wheel to remove rev counter.(turned out to be really easy though)
2)some of the replacement leds were really hard to turn and lock in place.

other than that its not a problem at all.
