alternator replacement help ?
I've searched,and seen the diy at p-car, does the belt tensioner at the lower left of the shroud need to be removed before removing the assembly?or will it lift up at an angle to clear it

The fan belt rides on that little sensor and it doesn't tension it. It is only held on by a couple of screws if I recall correctly...
Easy to take off. I wouldn't want to risk breaking it. It's only plastic.
