Rear blower
Hi,
I have completed a large service on my car, the valves where fairly uncomplicated to adjust, I adjusted all valves three times just to be sure that they where correct.
I was surprised, the engine started after my service :-)
Rotors and distributor cap has been replaced, I lost track of the position of some of the ignition cables but it was easy to install them according to ignition sequence.
The only problem is the rear blower engine. It runs when I’m turning the ignition key.
The blower should be turned off according to the switch in the coupe.
Is it correct that the blower runs all the time?
All the best
Anders

Three Wheelin'
Anders,
It depends on the position of the temperature selector. If it is on the blue dot I wouldn't expect the rear blower to operate, but as soon as you move it off the blue dot the rear blower will be called upon to deliver warm air to the cabin.
If the engine is really hot the NTC switch in the outlet pipe from the blower will cause the blower to run after you switch off in order to cool the engine - but that doesn't sound like your problem.
Hope that helps.
