I'm about to replace my wipers on the cab. Always used the Bosch and had ok results. But I just found Valeo wipers. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Valeo and how does it compare with Bosch? I'm in Socal so after this month I've got to be ready for 4 days of rain for the rest of the year LOL.

Valeo are OEM on Cayennes....and IIRC 9x7 vehicles as well.
I put a pair on my wife's 05 Excursion and have been happy with them so far.
Interestingly enough, my new Ford Hybrid Escape uses 1 18" and 1 20" wiper, but I think TireRack sells them individually for such vehicles.

I have had a set of the Valeos on my Denali for the last year or so and they work very well. They are great at wiping the windshield clean from rain and moisture, and after a year, still work like new. They are very flexible though, and do not handle debris and leaves very well, so occasionally you have to wipe any foreign items off of the blades. I got mine from Tire Rack.

I have looked for 13'' Valeo's everywhere including there website, but I don't believe they make that size. If anyone has found Valeo's that fit, please let us know.

That Valeo blade looks very different from the newest Valeo 'frameless' blades on the newer Porsches:

Not sure which one you were looking for....

I tried the Bosh and the left side will not follow the curvature of the windshield as well as the Valeo does. The Valeo seems to be more flexable and is the OEM for Porsche. I like them better...IMHO

There has been at least one TSB/service action/replacement regarding the Valeo wipers on the Cayenne....and the frequent complaint about the wipers "sounding like an elephant having its *** dragged across the windshield", but they seem to have worked those issues out.
Also interesting to note that TireRack does not offer the wipers for the Cayenne (they used to) and the dealer charges $80-$90/pair.

On another topic... browsing Pelican I came across this text:
Wheel bearings are one of the parts that routinely wear out on older cars. With the car off the ground, check the wheel for any wobbling or excessive noise. Replace bearings in pairs. Tech Tip: Freeze the rear bearings prior to installation. The cold temperatures will make them shrink slightly and be easier to press in. They also make a nice snack when served with ice cream.
