Default Oil Hose Part #?

I need a part number for a oil hose on a 91 C2. The hose is the one that runs through the right rear wheel well from the bottom of the oil tank to the oil thermostat. Do you replace these with OEM or is there something better?

964-207-251-02 "oil hose for thermostat"...don't know if you have to use OEM.

I just had $1900 in oil line/hose/timing chain gasket work done. Some parts were OEM, like the hard lines. Other parts were not OEM, like the soft lines.

Good luck!

You can get it from Porsche or OEM. They are pretty cheap. Make sure you know what thermostat you have so you get the proper oil line. The one Rob listed is for thermostats ending in part # 06 (03 also applies but this is a '90 part). If yours ends in 05/07/08 the PET shows to use 964-207-251-03. While the thermostats supercede, the hoses do not for some reason.

How do you know what oil thermostat you have, is it stamped somewhere you can see?
