Amp under seat? What will fit?

I was suprprised to not find a previous post that answered this one.
I have a cab so I need to mount the amp under the passenger seat (installed rear seats, amp was inside luggage shelf). I really don't want it up front.
I am looking for recommendations on a low profile amp that will fit under the seat. The Alpine MRP-F200 that is in the car now won't fit.
Preferably one that works with the head unit, an Alpine CDA-7894.
Sound quality isn't real important to me in this car, just want something that works to replace the Apline.
Any ideas? Anyone been here before me?
Thanks!!!

If sound quality is not that important, you should just take the amp out. Your head unit is powerfull enough without one.
I had the same problem and now have a kenwood MP3 player which has 50W x 4 speeker output. with kenwood 13" 120W speakers in front door cards and 10" 100W in rear sides. This is way load enough for me. You could spend a fortune and not really gain anything.
Try by-passing the amp to see what the sound is like. You will be supprised.

blaupunct TSA 460 is what I was going to look at but never got around to actualy measureing the space. I saw it and thought it looked quite compact. 4 channel amp as well teh 2 chanel is smaller i think.
(W x H x D )205 x 45 x 177 mm (without casing) you would obviusly need to see how much room you have.
Try googlng for slim pwer supply or something a few manufacturers make slim compact designs

OK, a quick follow up. You CAN fit an Alpine MRP-F200 under the passenger seat. Just have to be very determined. Tight fit.
Had to move the seat power connector, both metal boxes (now stacked on top of each other) and re-route all wiring.
But it fit!
No place for the sub-woofer that was in the luggage shelf but that Alpine deck is very tunable. I should probably upgrade the speakers since they look a bit tired but it sounds pretty good.
Actually, it sounds really good since it is all in a car that I would rather hear the engine in anyhow.

I have installed a MRP-F200 under my passenger seat. No problem, there is enough place !!!
And a Blaupunkt ODsb 5000 subwoofer under the driver seat. Not as easy to install![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I'm amp-less also. I originally tried to use the factory amp, but the output was pretty weak, so I just wired the head unit to the speakers.
The internal amp in the head unit (Blaupunkt Casablanca CD/WMA/MP3player) is fine with me - I don't want to drown out the engine! :-)
