be sure to have the part number in hand for reference where ever you go. (the one i posted above in the 3rd or 4th post from the top.) lately i've seen them at wal-mart, pep boys, auto zone, advance auto parts, et cetera.

Hi,
I have a 1990 C2 cab and was looking into installing the red top. I am looking at the + side terminal of the harness and it looks like I may have to modify the + terminal to fit the red top Optimas. Did you have to modified yours + terminals to fit the Red Top Optimas?, if so, how?. Thanks in advance for all your help. ANdy

My positive (+) terminal fit just fine but I did have to buy a longer negative (-) cable to loop around and reach the terminal.

yes please post a picture of the + and - terminal. My positive terminal has a 90 degrees bend (like an upsidown L). I am trying to figure out how to modify it to fit on a red top. Thanks. Andy

I have the 35/75 (first picture in the black car) and it just fits - I really doubt that anything larger would fit!
I do not know which one Rick has as his certainly looks smaller.

Found a supplier on eBay. Approx $88 plus $21 shipping withing U.S., total is around $108. No tax
Couldn't find a local store than can beat that.

No issues with cable placement? Terminals are supposed to be facing into the compartment not against the wall.
