Hydraulic pump relay
I read this on another forum, can anyone tell me what relay this is and where it is located?
Some cars have a relay that locks up and causes your hydraulic pump
in the front of the car to burn up. That happened to mine. Cost me
quite a bit to find this supposedly common problem (I don't know of
any other C4 owners that this has happened to, but Porsche has a tech
bulletin about it, so it must have happened to a few).

This happened to me about 10 years ago. I was very angry that an $35 relay burned up a $1,200 pump. My mechanic ended up replacing both the pump and relay. Unfortunately, I don't remember which relay it was.
