I can't believe how much better the RS door panels look. What a difference.

For a test I took out the sound deadening under my floor mats in the front. It was super easy, and man those things are heavy. I have to decide if I want to put any of that back in. One of the problems is there is a huge ridge right in the footwell that a pain. With the sound deadening you don't really feel or see it because it all combines to make a flat area. Hmmm. I think I will just replace the deadening with new stuff and go from there.

I got my appbiz samples yesterday. The good news is they are starting to make RS kits with carpet that looks like the stock C2/C4 carpet instead of the more minimalistic stuff (plush). Does the 'real' RS have a different type of carpet or is it just the different coverage? Anyone know?

Be very careful if you decide to remove the sound deadening permanently, the main ECU wiring harness runs in the area and with just a floormat you will chafe the wiring.
