Paul...
You’ll be the only one on the block that’s for sure.
Very unusual.. Looking forward to the end result...
Thanks for the photos,
Marc...

Most after market re-trims look pretty poor..not this one! Alcantara's fab stuff.

BTW do you have a hi spec beemer with 9 INKY as the plate?

Are you recovering the panels yourself? Is the alcantara expensive?

Cheers Johnny, no it's not mine mate!!

pcar964, the panels are being retrimmed by a professional company that have a very good reputation and just all round nice guys to deal with too. Not had the bill yet though!!

I have sent off my seatbelts to get chnage to red and also have been updated on my other parts for a midweek delivery next week, for my carbon/alu handbrake and gearlever set with the black leather.

Got some vinyl spray from halfords for the bit that need just recolourled like the B-pillar etc so looking good now boys for a 2 week completion!!

I'm gagging to drive the car as she needs a good run as it's been a long time off the road, over 4-5 weeks now really

Is that stuff fuzzy or like a smooth plastic type covering or leather? Hard to tell from the pictures. I have never heard of it.

It's basically the other side of leather feel, it's like a suede feel but better wearing and nicer I think.........

alcantara is a man-made suede , last time i looked it was 75-100 per meter .
