Default Porsche fan belt pulley tool

Regarding the Porsche tool (# 999.571.052.02) that holds the shaft for the fan belt pulley in place while you're loosening the nut around it, what is the size and type of fitting that is? I'd like to see if I can buy an attachment for an existing tool I have rather than buying the "special" tool itself.

Are there any other options or should I just get the special tool?

Thnx,
Harry

Its a 10mm xzn .
I got a set of xzn bits for very little off of ebay . If I ever run into another xzn type bolt , I have the bits to drive it .

I bought one at a local auto-parts store for about $6 (I think it was K-D brand). Had to cut it off (the triple-square bit, as it's called, was about 3 inches long) so that it then would fit into a 10mm socket, that would then fit between the end of the alternator shaft and the bodywork. A cut-off tool accomplished the cutting part. Snap-On also offers the same thing for about $26. Sears doesn't carry triple-square bits.

I have a spare, as I bought an OEM, and then won an auction for the spark plug took and pulley tool.
