Hi All

Came across this ad [http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/911-P...7703917QQrdZ1] on Ebay for a blower motor. I have squeek from time to time and I always thought it was coming from the 2 fans inside the bonnet and I know how difficult they are to access...so I've been putting off repairing them. I wasn't aware of this other fan motor. Does the fan motor exist on a 964 and how difficult is it to access? Where is it - can I get to it from inside the car?

According to Pelican Parts, that is the blower motor that goes into the engine compartment. Pelican shows that part number being superceeded by 96562415100 and for a 1984-1989. It looks like that motor could also be used in the 964, however.

 

The turbo used a different blower motor in the engine compartment than regular 964's. That motor doesn't look like the rear blower in my C2.

 

That is the turbo blower motor. Good price, too.
