Anybody ever considered Viper-style stripes?
Since I saw a couple of white GT2's with two large blue stripes last year at Francorchamps, the idea of putting Viper-style stripes on my car has been running through my head. Has anybody else seen a blue 911 with white stripes? It's an easily reversible mod but I wonder what you guys would think of it?

I've never seen one painted that way. (Although there was a pic of a 964 painted as an american flag earlier this year)
I imagine it would probably look hot, but would definetly lower resale. (well in north america it would anyways because lots of mustangs are painted that way here)
Why dont you take a picture of your car and mock it up in photoshop or something to see how it would look? (just rough in a white stripe) Or if its warm in brussells at this time of year, you could put a good coat of wax on your car and then put a white stripe on with an easily washable water colour paint, and then take a picture.

Are the stripes on a Viper painted, I thought it would be some kind of selfadhesive sticker I'll look around on the net if I can find the pictures of those GT2's. Tx for the replies so far.

Kris,
No, not really... But I if you would "Carrera" stripe the sides and paint your Cup wheels in the same colour, that I would like to see... If I’m not wrong, your 911/964 is metallic medium blue, so imagine... Red stripes and red wheels for some contrast against the Blue... Go on Kris, start a new trend, if it looks good, I’ll follow you...
Bonjour de ma part, j’espère que tout va bien chez vous…

How about this one? I'm sure that he has more pictures if you want them.

Kris, everybody has their preference. I like the look of the red car, above. I may do something similar one day. You can get decals made pretty cheap. Put them on and if you don't like them, take them off. No big deal.
