Default Lowering Springs (Quick Question)

I've done a search and have read plenty on the topic of lowering springs. I'm going with the Eibach Pro Kit. The question I have is - Do all 964's take the same springs? Or are the earlier cars differant than the later ones? My car is a 93. All of the places I've looked only list one part number for 964's. I understand that the shocks are differant depending on the year. I'm leaving my shocks alone for now. Thanks in advance.

All the same fitment, C2, C4, same.

I've got a set of the Eibach's in my garage awaiting a weekend without obligations. I've also got a set of Bilsteins to go with them. I'm looking forward to new struts as my car came with the orginal Boges and now have 104,486 miles on them...I think they may be due.

I'm sure it will ride better despite the lower ride height. I sure wish I had a fresh stock suspension to compare with what I'm going to be installing. I'm sure the ride and handling will improve however I do not know if my choice of Eibach/Bilstein is any better or different then the factory issue components.

Has anyone here gone from a fresh factory to aftermarket set-up? What was your take on the changes?

I can compare with my previous C4 who only had 25.000 miles with the stock Boge and the new Eibach/Koni set-up I just installed, as far as I remember (it has been a couple of years ago) the ride with the new set-up is stiffer but more comfortable at the same time, cannot judge the handling really as I'm still awaiting corner weighing and an allignment. My Eibach set also lay in the garage for 8 months before installing them.
