Also thought it would do more, but with fee now increased, that's technically 114.5. @dmaddox was closer to estimating actual #, so hopefully he's pleased!

Absurd as it is, I think any car without stock wheels narrows the audience to those who can see beyond it. Someone got a great deal.

It's not bad... But agree with others as weird as it is, cup1's probably would have gotten you abit more. I feel like those shopping for a really great resto / lightly modded driver 964 want turnkey. And prob a rebuild.
It does make me wonder if you could have gotten 114 here in the boards (with no fee).

Really nice car though 107(114 w/ fees) is a steal.
And I liked the wheels too

The majority are RS America.
Just want to say congrats on the sale of your beautifully crafted car!

I commented on BaT that I had a near twin 1993 C2 #420389. Here's a pic.

I may be in the market for a 964 once I sell my GT3, if anyone is looking to sell and wants a private party enthusiast deal I may be interested, C2 coupes only.

Very rough ‘92 C2 up for auction. Looks to have been sitting outside for quite sometime and was fully repainted. Was originally Midnight Blue.

Man you're definition of rough is tough lol. Looks like a car that was just painted and the underside cosmoline was left as-is. Probably would have been better just detailed and not given the lipstick on a pig look. But still looks like a nice car.

Yes, I immediately began questioning my judgement of my own car.

Ha. I agree "rough" inasmuch as it once looked the way it looked . . . Looks fine now, but would question deferred maintenance needs.

The before pictures definitely give away its past history of sitting outdoors but it does appear much of the seals and all the paint was redone. The color change could have held it back some but it was still a great buy assuming there was no previous carfax red flags.

I scrambled to register for bidding only to find out new customers (they handle mostly estate auctions) are limited to $25k until a "relationship" is established. I called and got them to raise my limit, which they did. High bid was a shade under $60k. Reserve not met. Ran a carfax (fine) and thought the video was informative. I didn't feel comfortable going higher, given the short notice.

I could not tell if there was a reserve or not. Strange platform for a car, much less a Porsche. Was hoping it was under the radar and no reserve.
