Hi folks, greetings from Switzerland
here's my beauty. Not finished yet, but there is another winter coming for sure, now it's about driving.
So far I have
- changed the wheels to 8.5x18 225/40R18 at the front and 9.5x18 265/35R18 at the back
- replaced original chassis suspension by a Cargraphic PSS10 one, at the moment some 40mm lower at the front and some 30 mm at the back
- break cooling kit (whole shebang not only the front cover, so the brakes will actually be cooled)
- bit of Cargraphic motor tuning (output now at some 285bhp from 246bhp before)
- shorter gearshift
- Turbo II rear mirrors (yawn)
- white indicator kit
- Sparco steering wheel (35cm in diameter) in black suede with white middle mark
- new RS like door panels
- Carrera stickers in matt black, design sort of 911 SC style or so (not the present 997 Carrera one)
still to come:
- 993 Turbo brakes
- remove rear seats
- replacement of standard C2 seats with 964 Turbo seats
- ????
All the original stuff is now stored away, just in case one day somebody is looking for an original 1992 C2.
BTW: I have no intention to mimic an 964 RS at all (hence rear bumper unchanged, air condition still fitted, electrical windows, radio (Becker with ipod connection) or so) I just think that these upgrades have made my beauty an even more enjoyable car I will be using on a daily basis. With only 68k on the clock, I am looking forward to heaps of fun

@ cobalt:
well, I dunno maybe different nomenclature over here, guess what you call aero mirrors over there are the Cup (or Turbo) mirrors over here?
And with regard to the seats, the Turbo apparently had different seats than the standard C2 with bigger side pads (see attached picture of refit done by AP Car Design, Germany, standard seat left)
Cheers

Yes the turbo came with comfort seats stock and could order sport seats as an option that is unless you wanted supple leather and then you had to stick with the comfort seats. mine came with full leather comfort seats and supple leather but i swapped them with the sportster CS's since i wanted more support. the sport seats could be ordered on either car.
