I snapped this pic the second after I took it off of the lift, so the suspension hasnt fully settled yet, should settle slightly more.

I think I have decided that this will be the final ride height, car is still, yet to be finished and back together hopefully by sunday! What do you guys think? leave it, or take it the final .5" in front and .25" in rear?

I will be adding 15mm spacers on the rear as well

(Random pics from a couple years ago)

A friend’s ’88 Carrera with my ’90 C2. Only two model years separate the cars, but (as we all know) they are very different…

BTW, when we drive together to events everybody ignores my 964 and drools over his impact bumper car. People love seeing uniquely colored 911s (summer yellow with linen interior)!

Best,
Udo

Interesting. Although I love the earlier 911's I always find the bumpers they added in 1974 were a poor fix to meet the US impact requirements. the long nose cars are far better looking and I like the cleaner lines of the 964's bumpers over the added on aluminum monstrosities.

I liked the RS bumpers used on My RS clone at least it looked like a part of teh car instead of some last minute thought.

These are old pics BTW.

I agree cobalt, I don’t like the IB at all.

That said, Porsche’s design was much better than most manufactures scrambling to meet the new safety rules in ‘74. Either way Porsche pulled-off the design for a long time!

I love the Fuchs rims of the older cars, but otherwise the 964 RS looks perfect to me!
