All I had on me was my phone, kind of wish I brought my camera but it was a spur of the moment trip. Weather was decent and I wanted to burn off a bit of fuel before I filled it up and added a bit of sta-bil for the winter.
I had the car resprayed Olive Green Metallic from the first gen Cayenne. It's really wild the way the color changes depending on light. Here in the shade it looks grayish but if you look back a few pages I have a photo where it's in morning sunlight and it looks completely different. And the wheel color was stolen from a GT3. I wanted to make the car different but still keep it in the Porsche color tree family.
The suspension is H&R "deep" coilovers. They came with the car when I bought it a few years ago but I'm still not completely sold on them. I'm probably midway height wise and they're just a bit too firm for me. As I'm getting older, I'm finding myself wanting a little softer ride. Still firm and planted but a little bit more subdued then these. I've been toying with the idea of selling them (they only have around 10-15k miles) and picking up a set of KW v1 or something of the sort but I like where I have the car height now. My delima now is to decide if the ride will be better with these in the middle of the height adjustability or another set near the bottom of the adjustability. The car is never tracked but does see some tight windy country roads

I am jealous, the weather has been so poor here these last 2 months I have given up and everything is away for winter.

That’s a great way to get to the trailhead although a Safari 911 would make it even better.

Three Wheelin'
Pulling out of the PA on Friday night, I had a set of 964 headlights right on my tail, I moved over and this thing went past rather quickly, disappearing off into the night.
He must have been travelling on at least the speed limit...
