Default Here is the VIN decoder

I cant find the paint fender tag for some reason? Its not on the front left fender by the battery (thats where I was told it should be). The the porsche dealership ran the VIN it came as a custom color.
Thanks for all your help!

As mentioned before, your options sticker shows L738 which is Black Pearl Effect.

Ooops!
The options sticker posted is not found on the fender, it should be found on the inner side of the hood below the hood lock.
The fender sticker should be a small foil one like this one found here https://rennlist.com/forums/attachme...code-label.jpg
Hopefully you can find one of the 2.

Default Blank fender tag

Still trying to figure out my color. The fender tag is blank and there is no tag under the hood. Confused.

Oh I see. Hey check this out, it's all the colors (more or less) that the 964 came in from the factory. From what I can see that is L22D (slate grey metallic)

What does the sticker under the hood or the one in the owner's manual say?

He looks a lot different then when I met him in 1985. I guess I do to.

Nice addition to his work.

From the other pics your car looks metallic black. Too dark to be slate grey. imo
