I want to compliment the car but that photo. I love the shop it looks like a great work space. the entire picture speaks so much.
The car is looking great!!! Love the wheels and the cage. Is there a thread or care to give us more details?
That is my 964 currently having an exact replica of a weld in cup cage made by Tuners in Coral Springs, South Florida. Every weld location and bend should hopefully be in the correct place when done. Also removed all the rear seat brackets and rear quarter panel mounting points etc to save weight.
Will also have the rotiform wheels for street use and a center exit muffler from my GT3RS fitted. When the cage is done then we will hopefully fit ITB next :-)
You can follow some of the build on Instagram #rikard964
sweet lord .... is that why the roof cutoff R? Are you removing rain gutters too? (Explain if no please!)
yes, easier to weld in the cage when the roof panel is off. Have a carbon roof panel going on when the cage is competed and painted. Rain gutters are staying, need to use them for the roof rack so I can take my track tires to the track :-)

For cage assembly. Have to complete the welds on top. Tryouts can do it in car without cuttin the roof off, it involves a hole in the floor pan, then complete top welds, push it up to fit them weld in floor plates.
