Thats part of my dilemma. My kids love riding in this car more than any of my other cars. So I was thinking of going with a Krause harness bar which I can take out between track days and not lose my back seat. My other big issue is going to a fixed pole positions seats. The stock seats are so compfy I can drive in them cross country. I hated my .2RS seats for long drives. I drove the 964 on the track and had so much fun that I want to be able to do it a lot more but it needs to be safe. If i decide to just go for it and you still have it I'll take it. In the meantime I've started to look for another 964 that is more track than street but one that I can drive on the street too. Like yours but at a different price point

From bbs in GA. Bought them when I got the wheels. Not cheap...$400. Don't fall for those $100 ones on eBay; won't fit. The cap is a two part piece with a silver ring that screws in from the back of the wheel and cap sits inside. I actually had one fall off and bbs quickly replaced it at no charge. My shop put couple of drops of silicone to keep it more secured. A lot of people don't use them but I remember it from when I was kid and loved it.

Thanks man 👍🏼 I just bought a set of E88's and I don't like the look without the center caps , contacted Tire Tack and they told me that there is NO center cap for the E88's 😡 I will order some today and your car looks great with the Gold Script 👍🏼👍🏼👏🏽👏🏽

I like the matching stripes to the wheels I did that with my Fikse's which have a metallic finish and used matching metallic stripe.

I do miss driving my C2 on the track, they are a blast and fun to drive and amazing how well they do for their age. I would caution you about fixed seats and kids. Not that anything will happen but God forbid and they get stuck in the back because the seat won't slide and or fold.

Thank you. I a picture mocked up just like that when I started search over a year ago. Come out identical. Very happy.

You know what I never really thought about that; and I'm a personal injury lawyer! I would make sure the seats would be able to slide forward. But in an emergency situation not being able to fold forward is not good. Thats that!. My kinds and I thank you! Now I just need to decide to either convert this the right way ala no back seats and **** the hell out of my boys or find another 964 to molest. First world problems I suppose.

They sound young enough to fit that will all change faster than you realize. They will move onto something else and before you know it they will feel cramped in the back. When my son was 5 or so he used to sit in the back of the turbo and beg for the turbo Boosshht as he used to say it one year the next it was too cramped for him. He liked the room in the back of the 928 better.

Good point! I have twin 6 year old boys and an 8 year old daughter. Daughter still loves the back seat so I have a little while before the boys have an issue. I've decide to leave the car as it is now and look for an aircooled race/de car. Selling my e36 race car.
