Mine hovers around 2, a bit above during normal operation at idle. It only dips below 2 when the engine's temp is at 9:00 and then does not get below 1.7-1.8.

This is on my dash indicator, of course. I have not hooked up an independent oil pressure sensor.

I'm no expert on this but in my opinion a reading between 1 bar and 2 bar at normal operating temp is fine......how accurate is the gauge anyway?...i think it gives a rough indication of pressure.......your warning light will let you know if the pressure falls to a dangerous level.
I wont have sleepless nights over this issue ...lifes too short......we are getting worried over one post ..which although worth reading and considerating......is only one post!!!!1
