Default Part #: Rubber boots around door jam button

Any one know the part # for the black rubber boot that covers the button in the door jam which turns on/off the interior lights?

Maybe I'm just not seeing it, but I can't seem to locate even the button in the PET.

Thanks in advance,
Dave

Found it!

PET Illustration 903-06

Some how, giving up and asking for help seems to turn up the answer.

Cheers,
Dave

Jim, I don't mean to be picking on you (too), but . . .

Maybe I'll sell mine on ebay when they come in.

I paid $5.50 for a pair of them from Pelican.

ebay lists them at $7.00 to start and $9.00 for buy it now.

Nice percentage!

Cheers,
Dave

Oh you too Dave? where's the link? My passenger side needs it, but as long as I'm there I'll do both sides.

One other thought; did you try the dealers? For me, if there's only pennies difference, I throw the dealershop the sale. Hope fully they remember the frequent customer, and treat you a little better when it comes to bigger $$ items.

Yea I saw the rubber gasket for the head lights on there also for over 2 times what I paid at Pelican a couple weeks ago. It was just a friendly suggestion
I figured it was high as a lot of Evilbay new parts. Thats why I shop around.

I do both, dealers and Rennlist sponsors as the dealer is sometimes just way too high for some things. I've had them quote me almost double the sponsor prices for simple stuff like hood struts. I try to keep both houses happy, since it seems I'm ordering something every month. Must be that "first year ownership" syndrome.

Pelican Parts rubber boot for door light switch

Didn't even realize I had skipped posting the URL, but, somehow, it seems appropriate this time!

As for checking the dealer, the nearest is about 45 minutes away. There are a couple within an hour. I've not been to any of them yet. I'd like to, but just can't seem to find the time for a 2.5 hr drive to get a part that I can browse for in 10 minutes. I do like to support brick-building businesses when I can, but this case is just a bit too much time/work.

Cheers,
Dave

Dave, thanks for the link. I'll check it out both ways.
