Porsche supplied one back in the day, and they occasionally get bid thru the roof on e-bay. AFAIK the 993 one fits 964, but don't quote me.
Best bet is to use Thule bars and 'feet' for guttered cars. Get a standard height foot for the front, and the taller foot for the back, to take into account the slope of the roof. They fit well, and don't damage the roof if done right.
Going ski-ing by any chance? Don't bother coming up here, btw! Nothing doing, but I hear there's been some dumping going on in Alpe D'Huez..
Skiing in the Arlberg in Austria. Just got back and the snow is phonomenal so I'm off out again soon and may well take the C4 as I have an undergorund garage there I have use of so I don't have to dig the car out of eight feet of snow!
I've driven out there many times before, but in big 4x4's so it'd be a lot more fun in the C4. I'll probably go the Thule route as they do have a stock for 911's I've found out yesterday.
Hiya Seight
For skis I would go with the soft racks . Small , light , cheap , easy to put on and off , take up no space when off of the car . I have used them for years with surfboards and skis , way better than all the hard racks that I have had .
Roofracks are very best for the hang your surfboards and kayaks and also other your lougage on your car i htink every body should add a roofrack on his car because the lack of space in backsdie of the car so i suggest you to add roofrack on your car...

Exactly. Otherwise I would have had to take the wife's car... No way, I need my "Porsche: Everyday magic".
The pic below shows a Thule system with the regular feet. The system G Pipe mentions above - with taller rear feet is the way to go, but usually needs to be ordered. It's probably more important (at least estectially) when there are skis or a kayak on top, but I usually carry bikes so there's no difference. I already had the rack and all the parts from a previous car...
Have fun on your trip back with the C4...post pictures of it with the rack on and in the snow.
