Question DRIVER DOOR MAY BE SPRUNG

My Driver side door seems sprung,, it shuts but only with some extra pressure. It lines up ok and latches fine.

The door stop needs replacing ,,, it lets the door swing out all the way witout resistance, so this is what may have caused the misalignment

Question is: ... how hard is it to fix the sprung door and rplace the door stop?

Tks

it is really quite easy. I had problems removeing the pins and then replaceing them again but over all was quite simpe. removing teh door cards is simplicity itself. check out the DIY section for a step by step guide on removing door card and replacing strap.

I'm realy glad I did it.

Pesty,
I'm in the middle of this repair myself. Any advice or tips on removing and replacing the pins?

anewbill,

I was using a drift(punch) and hammer from underneath and was getting nowhere fast. I then undid the 2 bolts my thinking was this would help and I think it seemed to. I continued bashing until there was a slight gap.
I then put the tip of a screwdriver in the gap and twisted when the gap was too big for that screwdriver I got a bigger scredriver and continued levering/twisting. its the only way I could get them out. getting them back in was just brute force and a hammer.
My straps did not come with new pins I recomend getting new pins as this may help in getting them back in.

ps im an idiot other people may have more subtle ways.

Pesty,
Thanks for the reply. You pretty much just discribed what I did to get my pins out last night. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who had a bear of a time getting them out!
